What to know
If you are thinking about visiting Cedarfield, you do not need to know the words, understand every tradition, or arrive with a particular set of beliefs. Come as you are. Visitors are welcome to participate as much or as little as they are comfortable with.
Sunday worship usually lasts about an hour; the current service time is shown in the At a glance panel. A typical service includes music, prayer, Scripture, a sermon, and announcements about the life of the church. Some Sundays also include communion, baptism, special music, or seasonal celebrations.
There is no dress code. You will see everything from jeans and sweaters to business-casual clothing. Greeters are available near the entrance and can help you find the sanctuary, washrooms, children's program area, or a quieter place to sit.
Children are welcome in worship. Age-appropriate programming is offered on many Sundays, and families can decide what works best for them. Children may remain with their adults for the whole service if that is more comfortable.
Cedarfield aims to support accessible participation. The building includes an accessible entrance, accessible washroom, and flexible seating options. If you have a specific mobility, hearing, vision, sensory, or communication need, contact the office before your visit so we can help plan.
After worship, people often stay for coffee and conversation. You are welcome to join, but there is no expectation that you need to introduce yourself publicly or sign up for anything. If you would rather begin online, visit Live Stream Services or send the office a message through the Contact page.
