Families & all ages
Messy Church
A creative, intergenerational gathering with hands-on activities, faith exploration, celebration, and food.

About this program
Messy Church is designed for people who enjoy learning by doing. Instead of expecting everyone to sit still for a traditional service, the gathering uses crafts, experiments, stories, games, conversation, music, and food to explore a theme together.
Children, parents, grandparents, caregivers, and adults of all ages are welcome. Activities are planned so families can move between stations at their own pace, and nobody needs previous church experience to take part.
A typical session begins with thirty to forty minutes of activity stations, followed by a short celebration with a Bible story, song, or prayer. The gathering then finishes around tables with a simple meal or snack.
Messy Church aims to be inclusive of different learning styles and energy levels. Leaders can identify quieter activities and adapt materials when accessibility or sensory needs are known in advance.
Current dates, registration information, and food-allergy details are maintained in the At a glance panel and Upcoming Events. Current dates, registration information, and food-allergy details should be confirmed through Upcoming Events or the church office.
